I've had excellent care during my recovery from a hard fall. Because of physical therapy, as well as a Doctor's expertise, I'm now mobile. I play the piano for church here.

We really like this facility. I think what makes it different is the staff themselves and the staff to resident ratio. You hardly ever see anyone struggling or going without help. The staff knows all of the residents by name and are very kind. I feel great about the staff here and their experience. I've only seen a help wanted sign once, turnover is next to nothing. Some of them have been here since the facility opened and others for several years. They offer my brother a very protected environment. I'm comfortable with them managing his medications also, which was hard for him to do when he was on his own before moving here. The food is excellent, I've eaten here several times. They have a lot of activities and my brother is happy with them. They also have morning and afternoon exercise classes daily. It's very clean, both the facility and his apartment. They allow pets as well. I would absolutely recommend them to family and friends.
The facility, though fairly large, feels small and homey. The people & residents are friendly. The residents are dressed & well put together & cared for. It fits nicely into the Richardson neighborhood as many residents lived nearby in houses or have children who do now. The rooms are a good size. They had a true 1 bedroom we were looking for. And all care is included, there is no scale for services. The price is reasonable compared to others in the area & just felt like the place for Dad. Good tenure of the staff as well. Dad says the food is good. There are activities but he hasn't tried any yet. I would recommend them to friends and family.

Changing living arrangements is stressful. When it goes from living independently to an assisted living arrangement there are additional items to consider. For the new resident and their family. [name removed] and the team at Appletree Court made the transition as smooth as possible from first visit through living on property 3 months later. They have been supportive and flexible, always keeping the resident's well being in mind (physical, mental and emotional). With a variety of support levels, care can be tailored to your loved one's specific needs. People are treated as individuals here and the staff is warm and welcoming. I was impressed with how many people were out and about in the facility. Exercising, visiting with other residents or taking part in one of the activities - plenty to do. I am happy with mom's decision to make Appletree Court her new home. And am very grateful to the staff - they consistently deliver caring, compassionate service at a 5 star level!

My brother and I toured this facility when trying to find a place for our mother. This facility was my first choice for mom. My brother was on board, except for the size of the units and availability. He wanted to get mom into the largest apartment available. At the time, Appletree didn't have any of their larger units available. We ultimately decided on another facility, but this one was great as well!
The director was absolutely outstanding with the entire process, although mom didn't get a chance to move in we would highly recommend Appletree Court Assisted Living.
Appointments were on time. The interview fit our request for possible admittance. Everyone we met was very nice. Residents all seemed very happy. Printed information we received was thorough and complete.

Appletree Court is amazing! My mother was very tentative to enter an Assisted Living facility, but she has just blossomed since she moved into Appletree Court! The staff has made her feel welcome and appreciated. She loves the food and has found lots of activities to join. I haven't seen her this happy in years! Her health was declining, but since she has moved into Appletree Court she is thriving and getting stronger every day. I can't say enough good things about Appletree Court. It has been wonderful experience. Five Stars!!

The people are all nice, with the exception of a couple people - which is okay. The community is very clean. They come right to your rescue if you need something. They are very attentive, willing to work, and solve problems very quickly. Everything about the community is really good. The only thing I would tell others is: don't expect it to be a nursing home, expect it to be what it is - which is assisted living only.

I would recommend the community to others for their loved ones. We were very pleased with this community right from the start of our tours of the different communities. The staff has been very helpful. There is a medication aide to deliver medications to my loved one, nurse to check on my loved one, aides to check on my loved one, and a doctor. They have physical therapy on site to assist the residents. The community has plenty of activities for the residents to participate in. Bingo, movies, church services and more are some of the activities offered.

Toured the community for my mom. She has been living at home and had a few falls and we decided it was time for her to make a move not only for care but also to have the socialization and make friends, which she has not had in the past year or so due to Covid. Appletree was a wonderful home like setting with a touch of the Old Richardson feel. From the first phone call , to the front desk , and the staff - they listened, greeted, and you could feel the care. The residents were dressed nice and looked well taken care of. I really enjoyed this community and meeting them and look forward to moms first day!

Our family had an in person tour and it is an older facility in terms of décor, but the lady who gave us the tour was so friendly and informative. They did have a room available but it opened up to a parking lot, and the room was located to far from the dining hall.
Our family had an in person tour and when we got there, the staff were just standing around and kind of ignored us for awhile and their community director could not really answer the questions we had.
Our experience with Appletree Court is above and beyond what I was expecting. The value for the money is great but we also really like the fact that she is able to stay here even if her level of care goes up, but the price will stay the same. The staff are incredibly friendly, I would give them higher than a 5 if I could. They walked me through everything and made this process less scary for me and helped me feel less anxious. I would absolutely recommend to others looking.
