Moving into an AtriaWG apartment, one year and a half ago, from a small home in Willow Glen, was a big life style change. With the help of A Place for Mom, I had been casually looking at various senior communities in the San Jose area. I was most impressed the first time I visited and have been glad that I made this choice ever since. All the staff, the sales director , the maintenance men, the Enhance Life committee, the cleaning ladies and the dining room people are very kind, considerate, friendly, helpful., and they work hard. There are many activities to choose from each day from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM. There are lectures, exercise groups, musical entertainment, crafts and games. The Atria van provides transportation to the grocery store, banks, shopping centers, museums, parks, the coastal towns, and medical visits. There are festive celebrations on most holidays . Three meals a day are served in the dining room. I am quite satisfied with my decision to live at Atria... Read more

Atria Willow Glen is a highly recommended place for Seniors. The community is nestled in the Willow Glen area, it has a heated pool, very nice walk ways, well appointed apartments, near a Starbucks, USPS, restaurants, churches, etc. The most important thing about this community why we highly recommend it - is its staff, from the Care Staff, all the way to its Directors. They are very approachable, helpful and TRULY CARE about the community residents’ well being. It will give anyone a sense of belonging and peace of mind. Knowing that it is a community that one can actually THRIVE AND BELONG.

My team has been helping families move to Atria Willow Glen for over a decade and their staff is great and they do as much as they can to help their residents enjoy where they live. They always have fun events and we see family members come visit and have fun at these events. They have a Casino night where they bring in professional dealers and tables and it is always a blast!

My loved one had a short stay here due to health issues. The community is beautiful and has a secure garden area for the residents to be in. If you can afford this community it is wonderful. The rooms are spacious. The staff truly care about the residents. I would recommend the community to others for their loved ones who are ready to move and is early on in their journey and can then transition here.

It was okay. They were experiencing large turnover because of the pandemic. And the staff weren’t as friendly and helpful as another place that we chose.
Atria Willow Glen has been absolutely fantastic. The value for what they provide is really really good. It is a very down to earth environment for normal people to live out their golden years, it is a great place especially for middle calls folks. It has overall been a wonderful experience and I would highly recommend them to others looking.

The most positive aspect of this community is the big courtyard that they have for the residence. The overall feeling is very park like. This community is in a really good location and this was one of the main reasons I picked this community. This was the biggest thing for me. They have activities at this community like live music, art projects, movies and more for the residents to do to stay active in the community.

We did not like this community much. It seemed to be older and out of date. Not what we were looking for the environment for our loved one.
Everyone is so helpful and nice. I was so lonely before and I've felt so much better since coming here.

I looked around at various facilities and I chose Atria Willow Glen because of the value for the money, it is close to my friends, as well as the fact that it is only 2 floors. It is on 7 acres and they have pods where you are able to stay. They are all separated and each pod has their own activity room and outside area. The location is great and close to a lot of shopping. The grounds here are absolutely beautiful. There is a great swimming pool as well. I would highly recommend to others who are looking.

My relationship with my mom has gotten so much better now that she's at Atria! She's busy, has friends, enjoys the meals, and I can focus on just being a daughter instead of care-taker.
