Very good staff for the most part. It is a good environment with a lot of bright people. The community is quite clean and have housekeepers on each floor. The staff is very friendly and knew my name immediately. The activities are good and they offer good off-community trips and normal on-site games and such. The value is probably on par with others here at Cadbury Commons. The community is very well run.

My grandmother lived at Cadbury for a little over two years and she was so happy there. Between other residents and friendly staffers, she had lots of friends and people that allowed her to feel comfortable. Every now and then she would make a wisecrack about the menu needing an upgrade but she clearly enjoyed the food there because she almost always opted for the dining room over a nearby restaurant when any of us would visit. Our entire family (especially Gram) looked forward to the Christmas party every year!

This is a very good place for someone who can live independently. The rooms are pleasant and the food is good, not excellent. However, assisted living services leave much to be desired. People wait for half an hour frequently when they ring their call buttons. The medication assistance / administration is quite spotty. People frequently get their medicines at the wrong times or miss doses entirely. There is little consistency in when people are put to bed or helped in the morning. Many residents have private aids to give assisted living services instead of relying on the overworked Cadbury staff. The cost of private aids is born by the residents, in addition the Cadbury room and board fees. The activities are varied and amusing for many of the residents. Many people never participate in any of the activities. The staff is very friendly. The ability understand English varies. Cadbury is quick to send people to the hospital when they seem to be ill or fall and hit their heads. This is probably one of the better features. The cleaning services in the rooms is weekly and irregular. It is not clear how often they mean to change the beds. Certainly it is not every week. For residents who only get two showers a week with the assisted living services, this is not enough. When the cleaning person took a vacation, no one cleaned the room that week. Laundry services are varied. They do not separate lights and darks. They do not hang shirts up. Laundry is done mysteriously in the middle of the night. Sometimes the entire bag of laundry disappears. They do not wash the towels and wash cloths unless someone has the insight to put them in the laundry bag. Some rooms are very hot and some rooms are very cool. Individual Air conditions are recommended in the winter for very hot rooms. The summer air conditioning was quite effective. But there is a heating season and an air conditioning season.

This was the perfect choice for my cousin. What I was looking for was a community that was on the smaller size that had residents that shared the same interest and engage in in depth conversations with my cousins and this community provides this. The community is located across the street from a lovely park so we can talk walks. They offer a lot of activities along with doing Sunday drives to different locations and events. At the community, they hold evening concerts in the courtyard. The food seems fine no complaints. The staff is friendly and very engaging. Along with the Sunday drives, they also take them on weekly trips to museums or concerts in the area.

As nice as this place may appear, it is unfortunately far from what you'd hope for. A relative of mine lives here and I wish I could move her however a move would affect her tremendously. Management practices are sub standard and it's unfortunate because it this facility has so much potential. More often than not, managers aren't available and when they are there interactions include a lot of fluff. This business seems to run its self and has a lot of great direct care staff that are far more dedicated than any of the directors.

Enjoyed the short tour very much. Very friendly staff. Had a down to earth and homey atmosphere. Studio was a decent size. Residents seemed very active and happy. Liked the courtyard area with garden and the park nearby for walking. Will consider further for my parent.

One of the things that the Cadbury Commons offered was activities. There are so many activities like arts and crafts, a fitness center, and an outside patio garden. The tour guide gave me a good tour and gave me information that included what amenities and services the community provided. The staff met along was nice and the overall of the community was good it was clean and organized.
