The staff is like family. They are wonderful - from management, to housekeeping, to maintenance, to the kitchen staff and servers. Everybody acts like we belong to them. The food could use little bit of help. If you have serious food issues, then you have to work your way around things. But they're trying to do the best they can. And we have a resident food committee that meets with and gives feedback to the chef and the person who runs the dining room. Things are improving. Part of that has to do with supply and demand challenges, and they really do the best they can under the circumstances. Recently, meals have become much improved, especially with a lot more fresh fruits and vegetables. It's just a very friendly and open place. When we toured and walked around with [name removed], who is amazing, she introduced us to people and they smiled and welcomed us and told us "You really want to live here!" And they were right. It's all different age groups here. Some of the most amazing people and most fun to be with are people in their 90s on walkers. So as someone without any of those restrictions just yet, I've learned not to judge a book by its cover. There are a lot of hidden gems here to get to know. And I'm very happy I'm here. The grounds are absolutely beautiful. There's a coy pond that my balcony overlooks, and they're out there maintaining things every day. Security is also important to them. Recently, after 10pm, anybody coming in has to go through the guard tower, and that will eventually will be 24 hours a day. They take very good care of us here.... Read more

I wanted my loved one to be in an enclosed area and in a nice environment and neighborhood and I just did not get that feeling at this community. The tour was good and they gave me all of the information that I needed for my loved one it was just not the right place for me loved ones needs.

The community was great from the beginning. There are two people I know that live here. This is a great value for your money. This was our top choice after looking at the different communities in the area. They have beautiful open spaces, and large hallways in the community. This makes it nice for residents in wheelchairs. The staff are very helpful and friendly if the family has questions or concerns. The residents receive one meal a day, and they have to order the meal the day before. The dining room has only been open for the last couple of months. They had been delivering meals, and are now charging for it, plus no one was able to get in the dining room until recently. The food is good tasting and there are plenty of choices to choose from. The only issue is receiving the food in the room for my loved one.

We chose Fellowship Square Phoenix because of the friendliness, when we walked on the campus everyone was going out of their way saying hi and waving at us. They also offer subsidized housing and have a continuum of care which was a big plus for down the road. We love the apartment and the size is great. I feel that they are very caring and really took their time to explain things to us and really walked us through everything, I did not feel like they were pressuring us and I did not feel bad asking questions. They were super transparent through the whole process. The location is out where there is not a whole lot of stores so you have to have a car or use their transportation to get to things.

I did not have a good first impression with Fellowship Square. When I walked in for my tour there was no one at the front desk and I had to wait a while to be helped.
We toured Fellowship Square Phoenix and it was an extremely nice facility, there is nothing negative to say about it. It was just much more expensive than what we were looking for.
I am very happy with the Fellowship community, I love it here. The staff is very efficient and cooperative, and the residents are all very friendly. They do have a lot of activities to participate in. The food is okay, it is somewhat institutional, but surprisingly it can be very good sometimes. The food can also be delivered to your room if you wish and they are still really nice when they bring up your food.

The community does cost a lot but the peace of mind and security are worth it. The staff is very friendly and caring and the residence is great also. I would definitely recommend this community to others

Fellowship Square Phoenix is an extremely pleasant and comfortable setting for seniors and a very good value. We had a wonderful tour by Rozelle and loved the set up and feel of the community.

Fellowship Square is a facility that is about 40 years old but does not show its age. It is very well maintained. A big plus is that every unit has its own washer/dryer. The meal plan is a bit odd as they include 25 meals per month in your rent and you are responsible for the rest. They do allow any uneaten food to be taken back to your apartment, which many residents do, I understand, and eat it at a later time. They have a fairly large fitness center where a therapist is there a couple times a day, but it is open for you to use at all times.

[Name removed] was wonderful and she gave us a full, complete tour of Fellowship Square. It was clean and modern, and quite impressive. We met a few seniors living there and they were kind and friendly. This was our very first facility to visit and we'll be touring other places before we make a final decision. But we'll definitely give Fellowship Square another visit.

Serious communication and staffing issues. Very long wait times for call button assistance request. Food is not good. Will never use again or recommend to anyone.

I liked the site. The price was better but the location is too far. Anxious to see the Surprise location they are building.

Fellowship Square is a superior community. The Cleanliness, friendliness, and quality of care is fantastic. The staff is always friendly and helpful, the food is excellent, and the friendliness of the wait staff is very impressive. They have a very full schedule of activities everyday with live entertainment at least three times a week as well as games, art activities and others daily. Fellowship Square is hands above any of the other communities we explored, and I would definitely recommend it to others.

While my mother and I were looking into various options for her, she found that this location is a better fit compared to the others that she has seen. She really likes her apartment, she also likes the people that she meets, she going to the restaurant every night for dinner, and it is just a very friendly atmosphere. The dining area has a nice variety of choices and you can take it to your apartment if you have any left overs. They sit you with different people frequently which my mother likes because she is a people person. The facility itself is also very nice and organized. They also have quite a few of activities that tenants can participate in. They have exercise fitness classes and art classes for example. Overall, I would recommend this location to other families.

My mother has been at Fellowship Square for about three weeks now, and our experience has been positive in all areas. From the time we asked for information up to now, the staff has been very accommodating, eager to share information with me, and interested in how my mom was doing. I immediately felt supported by the warm, friendly attitude there. The staff, even the young people, all seem very kind, gracious, and well-trained. The other residents also seem very happy. I just get a good feeling there. The food is great, and they have a lot of options to choose from, the place is clean and tidy, and they have a lot of activities and events to keep the residents stimulated and social. I would definitely recommend this comfortable and vibrant community.

I toured here when I was looking for a place to live and I liked it pretty well but it is a bit expensive. You definitely have to consider your budget. They seem to offer less here than they do at the place that I'm at now but they want more money. The staff was nice and I can't complain about that. I wouldn't have minded living here, it was just a bit out of my budget.

We toured about seven different communities but my mom liked this one the best. The rooms are a little bigger than others we had seen. The location is perfect it is close to everything. Mom is really enjoying herself here. There are lots to do with the activities they offer. She said the food is really good. The community is very clean and well decorated in fact I had mentioned to mom that I would love to live here. We would definitely recommend this community to anyone.

My mom was there for 11 years. She had her own apartment and everything - it's independent living there. It was wonderful. She loved it! That was a great place. They did meals and the food was very good. Mom needed quite a bit more care and just got to the point where she couldn't live on her own anymore so she had to move.
