The person we toured with was quite good. She gave us a nice walkthrough and showed us a couple of empty apartments and all the different common areas. Right away I thought it was quite a nice place. It was clean, and there were different activities going on.
Grove Manor Estates is a beautiful facility and they do a wonderful job making sure the residents are engaged and participating. If they see someone that has not come to the activities or dining hall, the staff go to check on them and ask them questions to see if anything is wrong. They never ignore someone's needs and they never hesitate to call families no matter how big or small an update might be. The apartments are spacious and easily accessible. They have different layouts to accommodate needs, some are big enough to fit a kitchen table and couches. Our moms favorite thing is when they take all the residents downstairs to listen to a gentlemen sing and play the piano. They also have bingo, board games, word games and painting classes. They also will put a question on a white board to help engage the residents intellectually. For instance once question the other day was "what would you use for a toothbrush if you didn't have one?" We appreciate the new things they come up for to engage the residents.

We toured with Grove Manor Estates and everyone was very friendly, but the facility itself looked outdated. I think for the right person this would be a great fit, but it was just not the right place for my loved one and what we were looking for.
We chose Grove Manor Estates because I thought the quality of the place was fantastic and the price was very good. The apartment sizes are pretty good compared to others that we looked into. I would recommend to others looking.

The staff is amazing. They are very welcoming and friendly, and willing to help in any way they can. The general feeling and culture there is very warm. My mom is in a really great place. She's made a ton of friends already. She likes the food. They keep the residents busy. They've been able to do this really well, given the fact that Covid is still going on. I know lots of places are having a hard time finding workers and everything. But I think they're doing a really good job, despite all the challenges that Covid brings.

There wasn't anything that i didn't really like. The only thing that i did not care for was that the memory care was on the second floor and he would have had to get taken down the elevator to go anywhere. The tour guide was very upfront and helpful.
They have a very attentive staff. Getting in and out with the covid protocols is pretty easy overall. They have been really good with covid . The level of care that they give my loved one is really good.

My parents were starting to grumble after a week or two that they didn't like it there, they didn't like the person who was sitting with them at dinner. They thought it was just a bunch of old people there. So they decided to leave and had a record short stay there. But I thought it was a very good facility. I contacted the dining room manager about the dining issue, and they corrected it immediately. All this happened over a holiday vacation weekend, but as soon as they came back, they got back to me. I met with eh director and the head nurse, and they sent a psychologist to go talk to my parents. They were all wonderful. It was just my parents that were difficult.
This facility felt like a vacation resort. It was beautiful. The individual rooms were large with wonderful windows. The common areas were elegant.

During the three months our loved one was there they were wonderful. We really liked the place, the rooms were nice and everyone was friendly. Due to covid the food was being delivered to the rooms and at times it was served cold. For awhile he was able to eat lunch in the dining room and he did seem to really like the food then. They did have activities like bingo, our loved one just did not always participate.

The people are great, they are responsive to all of our needs. The new nursing director is phenomenal and they call us anytime there is ever an issue with our loved one. They really are on top of everything, we are really impressed with them and they are doing a great job during covid. All of the people we come into contact with are wonderful, friendly and accommodating.
It was lovely and had every thing she needs. Price was too high for her.

I love the Grove Manor in Braintree for my mother. I was very concerned and worried about if I was doing the right thing about placing my mother in the memory care unit at Grove Manor. I soon realized how much she needed it and the care she gets is exceptional. The activities director there treats each resident as if they are her own parents. She is continually keeping them active with crafts, parties, music, etc... The staff from the receptionist to the CNA's, the nursing staff, the director and so on are wonderful people. The residence is clean, well run, organized and most of all warm hearted. I couldn't be more please with Grove Manor in Braintree, MA

[Removed] was lovely and the building seemed nice -the secure floor seems to be an afterthought as there are no outdoor options for them (porches, etc) The memory unit is quite small and the people have quite advanced memory loss. I like that it is a family-owned business, but [Removed] made it quite clear that many people cannot stay here until end of life. I want my mom who is 93 in a place where she can live until the end of life -This is not for her.

My mother needed to move out of her home that she had lived in for 60 years and spent more than two years visiting possible residences. Grove Manor is expensive, but proves the saying, "You get what you pay for." The buildings are elegantly and tastefully decorated and the buildings and grounds are beautifully maintained. The residents are friendly and welcoming to newcomers. There are 60 people living in the independent living building, the Glen, which is small enough so that everyone knows your name and large enough to provide social interaction. They offer a variety of activities and trips, listed on a weekly schedule. The apartments are spacious and light-filled. There are so many services included that it is like living in a hotel, but with neighbors. The food in the dining room is consistently excellent, and the young people who serve the residents are kind, cheerful, and helpful. All of the staff we have encountered are genuinely caring and respectful of the residents.

My ( now 98 year old) mom has been there about 10 years. 1st in their Independant Living section,"The Glenn" in her studio apt there. Then around 7 years ago, needing more care, to a studio in "The Grove" section . Now in the "Woodlands" section for Alshiemers & others, needing more care. I can't say enough good things about them. Cost varies widely depending on which section & which accomedations within those sections. ie 2 bedroom, 1 bedroom or studio.

I can't say anything too bad about Grove Manor estates except it was way too expensive. This facility is four stories and has a lot of permanent residents. River Bay Club offers similar services for $1500 less, however it is three times the size of Grove Manor. Grove Manor had problems involving our loved one in social activities or even meals in the dining room. The monthly rate here includes meals in the dining rooms, however, if you have a loved one who orders it delivered to their room there are additional charges. We would have preferred more of an effort on the staff's part to not allow for room service when our loved one needed social interaction. Beyond that I prefer the size of this community, it is just too expensive.

This is a great community. We really liked this community but it was too expensive for our budget. The community is very nice and beautiful. They provided excellent care and the staff was very friendly. If money is not a big concern then I would recommend this community.
