The administrative team, nursing team, and all the people working there, including housecleaning and daily staff, have all been absolutely wonderful. They are very personable. If I have a question, I can ask and I get an answer. They're very supportive of my father. He can be ornery, but they know how to handle him. And he's getting excellent care. This was a beautiful community. They had dark lighting in the common areas. The community was too large for my loved one, I felt.

My Mother...[name removed] was in your assisted living section and really liked her room, I want to thank you for your superior care. It meant so much to me her daughter, as I couldn't get to see her because of Covid and I am retired so don't make enough money to get there. I called her frequently until her final stroke when she wasn't able to speak more than 2 words. She passed about 6 weeks ago.

I toured Heather Glen and I really liked it. This community was in my top two choices, and it was a tossup between whichever community had availability. We chose another community because Heather Glen did not have any available rooms for the time we needed.
We chose Heather Glen because their pricing was all inclusive and there were no hidden or add on charges. There is no graduated or levels of care like we saw at other facilities. They do also have a memory care unit attached as well if we ever needed that type of care. I would recommend them to others looking.

We recently moved our mom out of Heather Glen because of the terrible care they were providing her. She was wet every time we went to visit her which resulted in bad sores on her bottom. Trying to get staff members help was like pulling teeth. If we didn't care for her when we visited she wouldn't get any care period. Such a shame because the facility is beautiful.

what we like most about Heather Glen is the spacious and open floor plan. the common areas are well designed. they have a lot of good activities for seniors and the staff are great as well.

Besides the facility accommodations being beautiful inside, there are many beautiful outside areas. The staff are caring and gentle with the residents. Heather Glen offers many activities both in the facility and on bus trips outside. Every time I enter the building, I'm greeted by a smile - very welcoming. I would highly recommend Heather Glen!
We are very pleased with the care our grandfather is receiving in memory care at Heather Glen. Unfortunately with the Covid restrictions that were in place we could only visit once a week but were so grateful to see him and hear his voice in person. Don't hesitate to call and check this place out. You will sleep comfortably knowing your loved ones are being taken care of so well.
They treated my father like he was there own father. They always meet his needs and wants.
Moving my uncle into a facility was a hard decision. Although my uncle and I are close (he had no children) I was nervous if he would be okay with my decision. He moved in straight from a rehab star and is glad to be somewhere that he is safe and cared for.
I've known the team at Heather Glen for years and have always found them to be as caring, kind and professional as any senior community in the Lehigh Valley. I highly recommend them to any senior that is looking for a personal care or memory care community.

The most difficult decision in life is to place a parent in a long term facility. Circumstances arose that my mom could not be alone. Mom has been in Heather Glen Senior Living Memory care for over 1 1/2 years. The caregivers love my mom. I see it everyday. They make her laugh, they hug her, they want her to be happy. They take good care of her. The management is always there when I need them. [Name removed] the memory care director is phenomenal. She loves everyone of her residents. She is very involved in making sure her residents are taken care of. First thing she does is gives you her cell phone number. Text or call anytime. They have live entertainment twice a month. My mom loves the music. Favorite days of the month. My guilt of placing my mom in a facility is lessened a bit by knowing my mom is well taken care of in a loving way. Staff and management is my 2nd family. Thank you for all you do.
After a brief hospital stay, mom was not able to return to her home. It was very hard not having her return to her home. We visited several personal care facilities and were very pleased with what we found at Heather Glen. It was a newer facility, the rooms were spacious, the staff was courteous, and the cost was cheaper than what we paid at another facility for another family member in the same situation. Mom is now a resident for four months. She is very happy, content, she said her surroundings feel homey, and she is comfortable. At this time, she is not a big activity person, but she does like going once a week to recite the Rosary. She's happy not to do her laundry, grocery shop, cook, and clean. Her only negative remark is once in a while she isn't happy with her meal. But, that is not very often. We would recommend Heather Glen (and we have) to anyone looking for a personal care facility.

My grandfather moved there a few months ago. He fought with my mom about not wanting to move anywhere but finally agreed to try it. Now he tells us he wishes he would have done it a long time ago. He loves the staff and food! My mom feels good knowing that he is so happy.

When you call for assistance, they are bothered. It takes forever for anyone to respond to your calls. The staff were cocky and sarcastic. The administrative staff is non existent. Medications were not given, if you had a simple problem like a headache it took days just to be able to get a Tylenol. It was a terrible experience and we would not recommend them.
