This facility is pretty nice. The Memory Care unit is separate and has a nice atmosphere. It's always very clean, they stay on top of cleanliness here (cleaning up spills, etc). Communication with the family is great. They have a good variety of activities. Overall, it's a really nice and clean place with friendly staff. I have and will continue to recommend them to friends and family.... Read more

I toured Villa Fontana Retirement and I thought it was a generally nice place. It was close to me, so I found that appealing. The memory care unit seemed to have a lot of people who were in a vegetative state, in wheel chairs. If my loved one were to move in, they would likely require two people per room; and I knew that wouldn't have worked for my mom. They had single rooms, but it didn't look like that'd be available anytime soon.
This was not the type of environment that I was looking for my loved one. It was not as fresh and new like the type of environment I wanted for my love one.
The community is really good for my loved one. The place seems to be well run. This is an older community, but it works for my loved one. The meals are okay. The community served a ham sandwich and this can be hard for the residents that have a hard time with chewing food. The rooms are spacious for the residents.

What stuck out to us most about Villa Fontana was the fact that it is smaller, there is only 80 residents total. It is also a family owned facility. I would tell others looking to take a tour and meet the staff, they have been very good with communicating about what is going on. It is a nice facility to have a loved one in and I would recommend them to others.
