Had an excellent experience over the month that he was there was great, we have since moved him into another facility. The nursing director really stood out and was fantastic.
Our family had a virtual tour with this community and from what we could remember it was a great experience. It was the first one we saw ad the person who gave us that virtual tour was very informative and helpful.
The facility is lovely and well appointed. The staff friendly and well intentional. Occasionally the administration lacks follow through. Their orientation of new residents did not meet the expectations that they themselves established.

March 24, 2022Hello, Thank you for sharing your family's experience. It is important to us to hear this feedback. Our residents mean the world to us. Thank you for choosing Atria.
Moved my mother from NY to Philly back in August of this year. I looked at two places in Center City, and two in the suburbs. Atria Center City was a no-brainer. [name removed] and the team made the process quick and easy. Most importantly, Mom is happy!

Response from Atria Center City
November 23, 2021Hi Richard, Your compliments mean the world to our team. Thank you for sharing, and thank you for choosing Atria.
After looking at a few residences for my father, I knew immediately that Atria Center City was the right place for him. The interior is very upscale and modern, like a boutique hotel, and my dad’s apartment was cheerful and bright. But most important was the sense of community amongst the staff and residents. All the staff knew the residents by name and cared about them personally. They went beyond just doing their job.The other residents were friendly too - and also fascinating. I enjoyed hanging out with my dad and his friends at meals and happy hour. The food was excellent, and my father enjoyed a full range of activities and culture, including musicians from the Philadelphia Orchestra, movies, and art gallery openings in house.

November 23, 2021Hello Emily, It's been our pleasure to have your dad call our community home. Your thanks means the world to our team. Thank you for sharing.
If you have a loved one that only has minimal needs and some independence it's ok, If they need more not so much. They are reluctant to problem solve and met particular patient needs. I would only recommend it if is minimal care needed.

November 23, 2021Hello J.R., Our residents mean the world to us. Thank you for choosing Atria!
Atria Engagement Staff recently enabled my centenarian father to virtually attend and participate in his college homecoming. Atria staff handled all of the computer needs and set-up beautifully. My father had a wonderful couple of weeks getting prepared for the homecoming and he was a big hit with his fraternity brothers when he was asked to say a few words during a Zoom session. Thank you for making this all possible, Atria!

November 23, 2021Ted, It is truly our pleasure. Our staff takes pride in going above and beyond. Thank you for sharing your experience!
I have been a resident for four years. Atria Center City (Philadelphia) has established a great sense of community. Dining is outstanding as well as housekeeping, maintenance, administrative staff and all departments but the greatest asset is the culture that they have created.

December 13, 2021Hello, We're thrilled that you choose to call Atria home. Thank you for sharing your experience!
Staff, Management, and aides provide a clean, friendly and hospitable atmosphere. Responsiveness and a genuine sense of client service abound. Locale provides ample opportunity for a variety of splendid visages and all suggestions, comments and, yes, complaints (after all we are seniors) are addressed promptly. A facility which treats with dignity and respect.

As an 80 something widower wallowing in grief and sorrow, having lost my wife of 57 years a few months before, I was caught in a typhoon of loneliness and self pity. My daughter, a Philadelphian suggested Atria. Having the usual images of an “old folks home”; I nonetheless agreed to a tour and admission conference. Almost at once I picked up on the positive vibes of the talented staff, and subsequent to moving in, my fears were fully allayed, Staff, food, services, cleanliness and entertainment factors border on excellence. Literally, every caregiver and aide, staff and associates are personable and gracious in all respects. I give them a 9.9 (must retain my rating for the one and only Bo Derek),

We chose this community because of the location, it is close to my home. The room sizes are great, very generous. The food is really good, they run it like a restaurant where you have a menu and you are able to order whatever you want. My favorite part about this community would be the staff members. One place they fall short it their communication. There is a lot of room for improvement. I would recommend this community. It is expensive, but for those who can afford it it is lovely.

March 24, 2022Hi Karina, Thank you for sharing this feedback. It is important to us, because we take pride in delivering quality service each and every day.
We chose Atria Center City because it was close to my brother. My mother is in a one room apartment with a bathroom, it is adequate size. My mom is not a big fan of the food. I would want people to know who are looking into Atria to read the contract carefully and understand what the expenses are really going to be. I would recommend this facility depending on your financial status and if you are mobile.

My parents really liked the vibe of this place but turns out they're not ready to move yet. Convenient for my brother and I to visit.

Used to be so much better. The irony is that they are doing all this construction (and a mess at that) to include a memory care unit and yet they don't have the basics down. This review from yelp really sums it up. [removed]

July 21, 2017Thank you for taking the time to leave feedback – it helps us to constantly improve our services. Hello, My mom has been living at the Atria for about 2 years. For the most part, the services they have provided her have been fair. Basic services such as; daily meals, emergency support and cleaning services are well covered. However, a basic service which has been a struggle for the past year, while paying rent of nearly 5k/month, has been hot water. My mom's apartment has not had consistent hot water for nearly 1 year. The Atria has attempted to resolve the issue based on constant pestering from my mom and other supportive relatives, but have failed to provide consistent hot water for nearly 1 year. Hot water is a basic service people paying rent are entitled to, and ample time has been provided to resolve this issue. Thanks. [Removed]

Everything is fine and I am happy with the care my mom receives. I picked them because they are close to me it is very convenient for me. My mom she likes everything and they do a lot of activities. They have current events, work out sessions, walking and show or movies in the evening.
