We originally went with Bradfield Place as it was the most cost effective. Now that my friend has moved in, it feels like family. The other residents treat my loved one with care and are very friendly. I have only heard good things about the community from others. There was some initial confusion on the bathing schedule, but this was resolved by putting my friend on a specific schedule. The community is assisting with bathing, and medication management for my friend. The monthly fee includes the apartment, laundry service, utilities, three meals a day seven days a week, and housekeeping. There are staffing that are available 24 hours a day. Some of the activities available are bingo, outside groups coming to visit, and more for the residents to choose from. There is a wall calendar with all the activities for the residents to see. The food is enjoyed by my friend and they compliment all the time. I wouldn't recommend the community to others for their loved ones. There was four directors in less than a year and a constant change over of staff. Due to these changes the meals aren't what they were in the beginning. They will only pick up trash once a week from the resident's rooms. There is no place for the resident's to carry their own trash out to dispose of this either. This is a big issue for the residents that have incontinence issues. Another big sticking point is they don't have any staff with longevity. The community is on the smaller side with 54 rooms. This was attractive at the beginning and now I'm thinking otherwise. If there is an issue with the care, the nurse will call back quickly to speak to me. If there is an issue with the community overall, and I reach out to the director it will take much longer to receive a response. In fact I've been waiting over a week for a return call from the director about a concern I have, with no response from them. The meals are mostly pasta being served to the residents, I believe. My loved one would like additional options to choose from. for meals. There are some activities available for the residents to participate in. My loved one would like to see additional and a variety of activities offered. The family used to be able to have the security code to come and go in the building to see our loved one. Since the COVID protocols we have to wait for a staff member, which takes a long time for them to let us in due to them being short staffed overall.

Our family had an in person tour and they made a great first impression - it was a tough decision and ultimately we went with another community but we can confidently stay if our loved one was at Bradfield Place we would be happy

This is place infinitely better than any place that has 300 beds. This is a very small assisted living place. This place is so much better for my friend.

I have recommended this community but at this time I am not happy. They are short staffed and they seem to be having issues keeping my mothers meds in order. The executive director is great but very inexperienced and there has been a lot of turn over. The only activity that I know of at the time is Bingo. During the tour this was my first choice, it was convenient and in a good location.

This community was nice, however it just seemed to be over elegant it was just not really my loved ones style.
We were never able to eat a meal there but our friend does say the meals are good. Our first impression of the community was the security. The community is very secured and comfortable.

It wasn't easy deciding to move mom to a senior living place, but we are so pleased with our decision to move her to Bradfield Place. They are so kind to her and she feels loved.

The community is nat and clean and the staff is very friendly and nice. The food is ok but they are starting to be able to go back into the dining room now and activities are also starting back up. I would recommend this community to others based on my experience.

My friend is in here and she has nothing but good things to say about the facility. We chose Bradfield Place because when we went to look it over and they provided a virtual tour. She liked it so much that we did not look anywhere else. Working with the director has been phenomenal, she is wonderful. When she first moved in she could not stand the food but recently she has been saying she has eaten every last bite on her plate. She is enjoying the activities they offer here as well, she likes to play bingo. I would absolutely recommend them to others looking.

I would recommend Bradfield Place and have to several of my friends. It is very reasonable in cost for the care the residents get. I'm comfortable with my loved one being here.

We think the layout is pretty good, it provides a good level of security for those who are in assisted living. They do a fairly good job of that and the way it is structured it is in a circle so there is no chance of anyone getting lost.

Mom seems happy at Bradfield. The only complaint we have is the food which I have spoken with them several times. It is not consistent. The quality and volume is not consistent. They seem to have a hard time keeping a cook employed on the weekends. ( Fri-Sun). On weds her evening meal was a bowl on pinto beans, 4 crackers and koolaid. I don’t think that is acceptable and Mom will not ask for more or something different. They do not offer a menu to choose from which was advertised. She has made a few friends and that is wonderful. Mom likes the care givers. Response time to her calls is poor. I was told they would respond within 3 minutes. That has not happened. Of course, with the virus , there are no activities. They seem to do a good job with meds, cleaning and her laundry.
