We absolutely love the Bridges, it was such a great choice for us. They not only are excellent with our fathers care but they also are very attentive and accommodating to our families needs. This community is perfect for him.
It has been an overall good experience. They have a conscientious staff. It's clean overall and seems to be a comfortable spot for people. They treat them very nicely.

My mother in law has been a resident at Hingham Bridges for 1-1/2 years. The facilities, staff, and activities are wonderful. They have not had any Covid infections since the pandemic began. The residents are not in their rooms except to sleep. They spend time in their living areas socializing together, and there are large living room and kitchen/dining areas where the friends are all together. Clean, bright, sunny, and the staff are cheerful and caring. Each wing has about 16 residents, and they all have access to large sunny courtyards that are beautifully landscaped, with paved pathways for walks, and rocking chairs, tables and umbrellas for visiting and socializing. The residents can go out to the courtyard on their own during nice weather. Each day there is a full calendar of activities, even during the pandemic. They continue to bring entertainment in--and have had several concerts and activities outdoors in the courtyards, and indoors while everyone is wearing masks and is socially distanced. They do crafts, memory activities, games, art and there is a lot of one on one time. There is also a hair salon on site, and the dentist and podiatrist visit monthly for anyone needing appointments. My husband, my mother in law and I could not be happier with her care. They even somehow make her ground food medical requirement tasty as their chef really cares!

The community was always clean. The staff was friendly. I looked very thoroughly for a place for my husband. They did not tell us they wouldn't be able to accommodate my husband with getting to and from the bathroom. Because of this, they said he would need an outside nurse to take of care of him, which was very expensive. After a trip to the hospital, they again told us he would need extra, round the clock nurses to take care of him for two weeks. At one point, I went in and his nurse was actually asleep. We did not think it was a good value for the price as it was not what I thought it would be.

Hi, my parents went to Bridges near the end of September. I was led to believe there were a lot of activities geared toward memory impaired/dementia/Alzheimer's patients. So far I am not impressed with those kind of activities. Also I was told that the aides all spoke very clear English, but have found that most do not, they do speak English of course, but some of them are very hard to understand. I am a bit disappointed in Bridges. The facility itself is beautiful and clean, think the pricing is high for the quality of care.

Response from Bridges by EPOCH at Hingham
December 2, 2016Thank you for taking the time to review our community. We take great pride in the comprehensive care we provide to our residents, which includes activities that have been shown to improve engagement and cognition while minimizing agitation in people with memory loss. Many of our residents have responded wonderfully to these activities, and we tailor our offerings based on each resident's individual needs. Please give us a call so we can learn more about how to provide you and your loved one with the best possible experience at our community. We hope to hear from you soon.
They have really great activities at Bridges by EPOCH at Hingham and the people there are really awesome. It is mainly my sisters that are overseeing everything and one area for concern they have mentioned is with the cleanliness. For the most part things are going well.

I was impressed by what I saw here, I'd give them 5s across the board. Overall they're just a very good memory care facility. We toured a few places and they really seemed to understand Alzheimer's disease care here better than the other facilities we saw.
