We aren't sure how many activities they have now with the new variant but we do know they have movie nights, exercise classes in the mornings and occasionally the residents can go out on outings. We are unable to talk to anyone. Sometimes my loved ones hair is terrible, and has on other residents clothes. They are getting too much money, and there is no toiletries in my loved ones room. We thought it was a safe community for our loved one. Overall, it has not been a great experience.

Response from Manor At Market Square
October 21, 2022Both the Executive Director and Regional Director of Operations are available to talk with families – please reach out to them. Our team understands the great responsibility of caring for the residents who choose to make the Manor at Market Square ‘home.’ The little things - likes clothes and hair - are important and we want families to have peace of mind knowing their loved ones are safe and getting the care they need.
Our family had an in person tour and the person who was supposed to lead the tour was not there so the activities coordinator stepped in. She did a great job, she was very thorough and was able to answer all of our questions. She was able to show us around and even a couple of rooms. However they have so many floors and we did not want our loved one trying to navigate the elevators. Also the parking for the visitors is not desirable
The staff were very pleasant and helpful which makes a big difference in the overall experience.

Manor at Market Square is a great place for Respite care. My loved one was on lockdown most of the time they were there due to staff members having contracted COVID during this time. The staff was friendly during the stay.

I love the apartment that I am able to share with my loved one. All the staff are terrific with always room to grow! Nursing staff take care of their family that are the Residents. There is always room for improvement but he community is well priced for location and decor is wonderful! The Manor at Market Square has been good to me at my time of need.

The staff are very good and know what they are talking about. They have a great sense of humor! The residents I live with are very nice and friendly. If anything is happening with you, the staff check on you. You are able to have assistance with personal care for a short time as needed too if you are independent. My husband was here as a personal care resident and they were good with my husband. This is great place to live!

I really like living here at the Manor. I think the staff is great! It’s my home away from home and I feel very comfortable living here. I love going on the bus trips for ice cream and lunch out it’s always so good to be able to get out.

Very helpful, they were the first to report to us and they were up to see my loved one within an hour for an assessment. They accepted her and she has been there since then. The staff are very friendly with the residents. My loved one is not ready to go home, but her memory is going and she is still happy. The staff have been great and the cost from what I researched is better than everywhere else.

This was one of the most emotional decisions of my adult life, but the staff at Manor At Market Square made it one I could make with grace and ease from the moment I made first contact. The facility was warm and inviting, clean, well maintained, and had a great community vibe, not the feel of a nursing home. The residents were interactive and very welcoming each time I visited, and there were many visits before a decision was made. My mom entered as a Personal Care resident due to a few health challenges, but my primary reason behind my decision to find the best community to fit her needs was for social interaction. Since my fathers passing in 2019, my mom was living by herself for the first time in her life. From her first day entering the community, she was engaged and encouraged to participate in activities and join the residents for meals in the dining room. THIS is what I wanted for her! The staff is spectacular, ALWAYS willing to provide assistance. So Grateful!

I really liked it here. The size of the rooms was larger than most I had seen or visited. I didn’t know if I wanted to put my loved one in the city, but I felt like it would have been a nice facility for him. This was my favorite of all the ones I visited in the area. We ended up keeping him in his home state instead of moving him here to Pennsylvania.
At the moment we are currently having a few issues with this community, our loved ones just recently passed away and we are having trouble getting refunding on things we had already paid for. However, we really liked how friendly the staff was, and their willingness to explain things and to show us around when we first visited. From our understanding the food was okay, and the rooms at this community are very nice and very well kept.

The marketing department [names removed]. Thanks to the crew from Fox rehab. We have exercise in the halls , all great people! I found a great home away from home. I already gave the kitchen a great review! I feel very fortunate to be living here. My late husband had a wonderful care here.

The entire process was so accommodating. The staff came to my house to evaluate mom which made the transition so much easier. Don’t let the location deter you! It is warm and inviting and the staff is top notch! I’m so happy my mom is getting such great, affordable care!
