The caregiving staff at Orchard Pointe at Terrazza believe that each resident should have wonderful senior living experiences. This wonderfully designed community is located north of Phoenix, Arizona, and near Lake Pleasant. Paved walkways through the grounds lead residents and visitors to the grand, Spanish-style building. The refined style elements seen in the tile roofs, stone pillars, and arched windows reflect the refined senior living experience offered here.
This community is located right next to a coffee shop and a restaurant, so residents never have to venture far to enjoy Peoria, Arizona’s, conveniences. However, those who wish to venture farther into the city will soon find themselves easily entertained. Residents and their loved ones can spend the day walking through the public parks and local shops. More outdoor enjoyment can be found in the many mountain preserves and recreation areas. I love the staff here at Orchard Pointe. Although they don't clean my moms room as often I'd like, its still a very clean community and I think the residents get great meals. I am very disappointed in one of their selling points that there would be activities every hour. In fact, there really isn't ever any activities. I had to go to the director, who is new and still learning everyone. She was very nice about it and said it's one of the things she will be working on. I visited recently and mom said she got to play the drums, so obviously there is something moving forward in that regard. I think they keep my mom in her room too long, but everyone there is wonderful. I think they may be a little understaffed, but the staff that are there are very awesome. Other than a couple little things, it's a good place and my mom seems to be happy there. As long as she's happy here, I'm happy.

Orchard Pointe is an absolutely beautiful, gorgeous, brand new facility. The gal who showed us around was very nice and spent 2 hours with us answering all of our questions and explaining things. We did not feel any pressure from them at all which was nice. They did not have subsidized living here and we knew if she moved in we would have to move her out in about a year because it just would not be sustainable for us.
This is a good choice for independent living. The staff were ok to work with. They recently changed their Administrator. The head of nursing could be improved as well. My loved one was here during COVID and the food was a bit more difficult because of the pandemic.

We chose Orchard Pointe because of the convenient location and it is also a beautiful facility. He started in independent living and has since then switched to assisted which made the price go up quite a bit. The room sizes are good and I would recommend them to others looking.
