We lived out of state and once we move our Grandparents to memory care it was important to have great communication and feel informed as if we are there. The Administrator I must say restore my faith in healthcare for elderly. Thanks to [name removed] for always communicating with us your professionalism and most importantly your compassion. Please thank the staff for providing great care. The activity lady for alway keeping it upbeat and fun for them. Please also ensure to tell the chef that we all miss his cooking. Maybe we should just come there for thanksgiving dinner instead :) We will keep it short. We love the community . We picked you because it’s a smaller community, higher staff to patients ratio, serene cottage home feeling, great and tons of natural light, the FOOD, it’s party every day there, the connections with the staff and residents and we did everything online from out of state. We opted for the furniture package until we come come down to help move the home. GREAT For us

I toured Hibiscus Court and I really liked this one a lot. It definitely felt like they were very organized with activities. The woman who showed us around told us hat they have a prom where they crown prom king an queen. She took us to the activity room and they had a disco ball up, and lots of pictures. It felt very friendly and they were in my top 3; I really liked it.

Savannah Grand of Amelia Island is a block away from the beach! The food is amazing, and not just amazing for an Assisted Living, but amazing all together. The flavors are wonderful. The staff is by far the most caring and sweet staff I have ever met. I love this place so much!!

The main reason we chose Savannah Court was because it is very close with my house and also my mother in law was here a while back so I was very familiar with the facility. It has been a positive experience and I would recommend the facility to others.

Commode was fifthly. Hard, stuck on BM on lid and on outside and inside. His wife [name removed] cleaned it up while we were there. We understand things get dirty but this was stuck on....like it has been there for days. Nurses were all very nice. Although on their cell phones a lot. Overall I thought everyone was nice but could of been cleaner. While nurses were on their phones...they could has cleaned the commode. A snack and drink was brought in. His hands needed to be washed before he ate his snack. We did get him to wash his hands before he ate the snack. Thank you for your care while he has been there. We appreciate you all.

I really liked Savannah Court and Cottage of Oviedo. The set up of their memory care wing was almost identical to where my loved one was moving from, so I thought it would be familiar and comfortable for her. Unfortunately it was just too pricey for the income she was making.

Savannah Grand of Amelia Island were the first ones to call us and accept my mother so we went with them and we do not regret it, I would highly highly recommend them to anybody. They are very friendly, attentive to the residents, and just all around wonderful people. The staff are fun to be around and go above and beyond for their residents and you can tell that they truly care. They have bingo, movie theatre, paint their nails, a beauty salon to do their hair, entertainment that comes in to play music, trivia, etc. so there is a lot going on. We have been very pleased with our experience.
