Another plus is the staff - the positive attitude of management which carries throughout. Meals in the restaurants and room service also earn a thumbs-up. With considerable effort and flexibility they try to accommodate many different culinary preferences. There are countless events appealing to a variety of interests - music, movies, Bible studies, parties, style shows, lectures, book club. The Wellness Center offers a full range of fitness equipment and programs. Or you can create your own regimen by walking in the adjacent residential neighborhood, across the street at North Park, or swimming/exercising in the salt water indoor pool. Ventana by Buckner welcomes seniors to an upscale, faith-based continuing care retirement community. Since 1954, this high-rise facility has been located in Dallas, Texas.
A continuum of care is offered with services in independent living, assisted living, memory care, skilled nursing, rehabilitation, and respite care. Thanks to a variety of health service programs, seniors can receive individualized care, including a program that offers house calls from medical professionals. With the exception to those in independent living, residents receive round-the-clock care and supervision provided by trained caregivers, medical director, and licensed nursing staff.
The community has over 25 different floor plans, including studio, one-bedroom, two-bedroom, and three-bedroom apartment options. While living at Ventana by Buckner, residents can utilize convenient services like housekeeping and transportation. This community was nice, however it just seemed to be over elegant it was just not really my loved ones style.

We did not have the best tour experience. When we showed up they were not expecting us and asking why we were there. The tour was thorough, I just did not like what I saw. It seemed cold and sterile. It seems like a place that is more geared towards younger more active adults. It requires a lot of walking.

From the moment we moved in, we felt at home. We are well-taken care of with a wonderful new family that cares about each other. The activities are varied, the entertainment is well- rounded and the food is wonderful. It is also great to have a state of the art gym, a beautiful pool, and a soothing whirlpool.
